The finest selection of pálinkas, superb sausages and live music awaits the visitors at the Castle of Buda October 6-9. This year, the Palinka and Sausage Festival of Castle of Buda hosts Russia and its national spirit, vodka.
The fifth annual Pálinka and Sausage Festival of Castle of Buda is again situated in one of the most beautiful locations of Budapest, the Castle District. Only this time it is twice as big, since last year's festival was completely sold out. At the Oroszlános courtyard, our guests will get to enjoy the pálinkas and the music under the most comfortable circumstances at their own reserved tables.
Following the tradition from last year of having a guest spirit, this year we host Russia's national spirit, the vodka. At the russian corner, the secret of authentic russian vodka will be revealed, and of course, visitors will have the chance to taste the finest russian vodkas as well as some fine russian cuisine.
From this year on, tables can be reserved at the festival so that visitors can enjoy the pálinkas and the food more comfortably. This is a convenient solution for groups of friends or for company get-togethers. There's almost a thousand available seats at the venue, and a choice of different meals.
PayPass cards introduced at the Spring Pálinka Festival of Budapest make payments simple and convenient. Those that already have a PayPass card may charge it in advance or at the festival, and may enter free of charge one time.
The organizers of the festival wish to draw attention to the traditional hungarian specialties and promote the tradition of pálinka-tasting. They would like to share their passion for the fine hungarian pálinkas and sausages with as many foreign and hungarian visitors as possible. |
